Pušipel

Dry, 10-12 °C

Pušipel

Refreshing flavors of lemon, lime and green apple can be found in Pušipel. This
refreshing wine has distinct mineral – citrus notes, low alcohol levels and a pronounced
acidity that allows it to be consumed along medium and strongly seasoned dishes. Its
taste demonstrates the great potential this variety has.

Recommendation for consumption:

This type of wine can be served along roast chicken with potatoes or in a combination
with a local autochthonous dish, dry meat in tiblica with cottage cheese and sour cream.


DK Grofovo Cuvee

Dry, 10-12 °C

DK Grofovo cuvea

Extremely nice blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Pušipel with a pleasant
freshness and nuances of residual sugar. This semi dry note gives it a distinct richness
specific to vineyards in Međimurje. DK Grofovo cuvee has a very full body with rich and
fresh fruitiness.

Recommendation for consumption:

DK Grofovo cuvee fits mostly with any main dish. While you can combine it with lighter
meals (chicken with pasta or vegetables), it also blends well with heavier and stronger
dishes (roast pork with potatoes or any kind of smoked meat, semi-hard and hard
cheeses ).


Pinot Noir

Dry, 14-16 °C

Pino Noir

Sparkling ruby color with flavors of dried fruits (raspberry with notes of currant and
blackberry), and caramel with medium alcohol contents. Its nicely developed aroma
comes to fore with aging. This wine tastes very good, delicious in every sense of the
word with a dominant fruit flavor and beautifully balanced acids.

Recommendation for consumption:

Pinot noir can accompany all red meat dishes (pork, veal and venison) with side dishes
such as baked potatoes and buckwheat or a selection of grilled fish and asparagus.


Pinot Blanc

Dry, 10-12 °C

Pinot Blanc

Easy to drink with an aroma reminiscent of honey and caramel, medium and low acidity
levels and a higher alcohol content. A gentle wine with pleasant aromas of meadow
flowers and ripe apples.

Recommendation for consumption:

Pinot blanc goes well with turkey medallions with pancetta or bacon and gnocchi as a
side dish.


Welschriesling

Dry, 10-12 °C

Graševina, Welschriesling

A pronounceed aroma and a greenish-yellow color are typical for this variety as well as
fresh and harmonic flavors, a medium alcohol content and a pleasantly bitter taste. With
abundant aromas of apples and nectarines accompanied by subtle shades of grass and
citrus tones. It is sweet and sour at the same time with a great retro flavor.

Recommendation for consumption:

Graševina is a wine variety that easily blends with numerous dishes, e.g. roasted duck
with vegetables, or any other type of poultry. It can also be combined with pasta in
mushroom sauce.


Gewürztraminer

Semisweet, 8-10 °C

It has a golden – yellow color, intensive odor and sweet taste that is reminiscent of the
smell of roses, meadow flowers and notes of fresh grass. It has extremely low acidity
and higher alcohol content with residual sugar.

Recommendation for consumption:

Seeing how the Traminer is a semi-dry wine and its amount of unfermented sugar, it is
excellent when consumed along chicken with pasta in cheese sauce and lots of spices.


Gewürztraminer

Scented Traminac (Gewurztraminer)

Traminer is a generally very aromatic variety were the intense flower notes come to fore,
with an emphasis on roses. When tasting a dry Traminer these floral notes
of roses are emphasized, just as in selected harvests. The 2011 Traminer was
honored as a champion of white wine in Split.

Recommendation for consumption:

Seeing as the Traminer is a dry wine we would recommend it to be consumed along a warm
appetizer or a main course. The floral notes make a strong pair with homemade cheese and
cream and when consumed with a main course it goes best with fresh water fish or smoked salmon.


Rosé pinot noir

Semi-sweet, 10-12°C

Rose Pinot Noir

Rosé Pinot Noir is bright pink. Rosé is a sweet, mild flavored wine that tastes of wild
berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries). It will surprise you with distinct fruity
notes in its taste and aroma. Fruit flavors dominate the beautifully balanced acids.

Recommendation for consumption:

Rosé Pinot Noir is a semi-sweet wine and it’s recommended to consume it with light
desserts such as apple pie, light dry cookies and cheesecake.

Rose Pinot Noir

A wine with a slightly pronounced and a very nice smell. After only a few moments
it creates lovely aromas of honey and caramel with a refined finish of the noble rot.
The flavor is intoxicating, very sweet and thick.Moderate, artfully balanced levels
of alcohol and glycerine produce a solid sense of smoothness and drinkability.

Recommendation for consumption:

Pinot Blanc is a dessert wine with clear aroma of caramel and honey
that can pair well with most desserts.The combination of the sweet
taste of the wine and sweets can be experience with cheesecake or light
summer desserts like fruit cakes.

An extremely lovely blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Furmint (pušipel).
These particular varieties offer the ideal composition of aroma and taste. This is a gentle
wine with a uniform acid mix. DK Grofovo cuvee is a light and fresh wine which is best
consumed pure, as a spritzer or sprinkling.
